01Set it up

1

Set Password Safe as your autofill service

Open the Android Settings app and go to Passwords, passkeys & accounts. Under Preferred service, tap Change and choose Password Safe.

Menu names can differ slightly depending on your phone's manufacturer and Android version.

2

Allow Chrome to use it

Open Chrome, tap the menu (⋮) and go to Settings → Autofill services. Select Autofill using another service.

If the option is greyed out, step 1 isn't done yet.

3

Restart Chrome

Tap Restart Chrome to apply the change.

That's it. Open a login page, tap the username field and pick your entry from Password Safe.

02Troubleshooting
